User Guide

Housense provides three main search functions accessible from the homepage. Each search type is designed to help you find specific information about residential leasehold property management in England and Wales.

Searching for Residential Developments

Select the "Residential Developments" tab and enter:

  • Development Name: The name of the residential site or building (e.g., "Riverside Apartments")
  • Address: Part of the development's address
  • Postcode: The postcode or partial postcode of the development

Searching Court and Tribunal Decisions

Select the "Court and Tribunal Decisions" tab and search by:

  • Development Name: Find recent cases related to a specific building or site
  • Managing Agent Name: Find recent cases involving a particular agent
  • Case Reference: Look up a specific court or tribunal case number
  • Keyword: Search for cases relating to specific matters (e.g. "major works", "management fees")

Searching for Managing Agents

From the homepage, select the "Managing agents" tab and enter:

  • Postcode: Enter a postcode in England or Wales to find managing agents near that location
  • Agent Name: Enter the name of a specific managing agent

If your search returns no results:

  • Check your spelling and try alternative name formats
  • Try a broader search term (e.g., just the postcode area instead of full postcode)
  • The information may not yet be in our database - we're continuously adding new data
  • Consider contacting us to suggest additions to the database
